Every preset of the manuals or pedal holds 21 or 10 samples of sustained pipes and 21 or 10 of the reverbs. The reverb samples sound when the key is released. Big effort went into the proper crossfade between reverb and pipe. Some pipes have a KeyOff characteristic and the closing of the air valve is audible. All the samples are taken from some distance to retain the spatial arrangement of the voices. Entire preset pipe sets were sampled. We believe that the room acoustics and the air do a better mixing job than any digital or analog gadget. Our recording technique allows you to locate every pipe in the room and the various pipe presets mix very well with each other without loosing any presence. Even single pipes can still be heard when played against huge pipe mixtures.
The noise of the gigantic blower is sampled separately. It lets you feel the size of the instrument as if you were there. It is assigned below the range.
Imagine playing a Pipeorgan in the room it was made for. This is not only another sampled instrument this is an experience.
